Holistic support for men of African descent
Every service is built around three pillars — housing, healing, and community. Intake, case management, and personalised support planning are woven into every program from day one.
Emergency & Transitional Housing
Immediate, dignified shelter for men in crisis, followed by a structured pathway to stable, permanent housing.
Mental Health Support
Counselling and healing resources that meet men where they are — reducing stigma and centering culturally safe recovery.
Community & Outreach Support
A connected network of legal aid, mental health navigation, home visits, and peer community — in person and online.
Safety For Women & Children
Case Management built into every service: Every man who comes to Mandela House receives an intake assessment, a dedicated personal case-worker, and an individualized support plan — ensuring tailored care and guidance from day one, through every program.
Mandela House provides a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for women and families seeking stability, healing, and hope. Our facility is designed to foster dignity, comfort, and community, offering spaces where residents can access support services, build connections, and focus on their journey toward independence and well-being.
